Amex Authorized Users (Additional Cards)

Hi,

I am not sure what changes Yoodlee implemented about a month ago, but now every single Amex card that happens to have AUs (Authorized users linked to it) are now being pulled into my dashboard.
Note, I know that if I do not “check” them they will not appear in my spreadsheet (which is fine). It is simply annoying since my dashboard is all cluttered with accounts that I do not want, nor need.

I can understand a use case where I would like that level of granularity, but perhaps there should be a flag that allows us to establish if we want to pull those accounts in the first place or not.
I wish it was like before where only the basic (main) cardholder would appear and not all the AUs, or at least give me an option to select multiple accounts at a time so I can remove them from the dashboard. I simply cannot do this for every single one when I have dozens of them.

Yes, I am just getting started with Tiller and I was just thinking about this use case. I am looking at the opposite situation as you - I set up my mom as an authorized user on my Amx so I could track her spending - she has dementia and I manage her money - and I would like to bring in her transactions but track them outside of my budget. Conversely, sometimes I have transactions on my AMX that are her expenses so I would like to track them but again outside of my budget.

That’s an interesting change to how Yodlee is reporting, @COL. It would be a manual step but one thing you could try is to use AutoCat to flag the transactions you don’t want then periodically (e.g. weekly?) filter on the flagged transactions and delete them.

Essentially, you could create a new column in your transactions and AutoCat sheets called “Delete Me”. Then you could write a “Description Contains” rule with the list of account #'s you want to flag: "1049","1056","1059" and mark the new “Delete Me” override to be a filled checkmark.

Make sense?

Thanks. I simply did not select (checked) those accounts to be imported to my spreadsheet, so that is actually not the issue. My issue is that all of a sudden (from one day to the other) Yodlee began “Showing” those accounts in the dashboard, so now I have to scroll endlessly to move from Amex to my next account, simply because I have DOZENS of those cards added to my Amex main cards.
That is not how it was, not sure why they started doing that, and I wish they could add an option so we can choose whether we want those account to show or not.
Again, this is not for the spreadsheet, this is for the account dashboard on tillerhq.com

My authorized user card pulled in too for Amex, I just removed it though since it’s not needed for my reporting. Here’s the steps: How to Remove an Account or Institution Connected to Tiller | Tiller Help Center
