Anyone have ideas for tracking a yearly savings budget. It works fine to use the yearly budget unless you adjust the savings column in a category with money. For example, I had money I wanted to add to a category in the savings budget, so I used the adjustment function to add to savings. It works fine within the savings budget, but the yearly budget now says I am in the red for overspending. It does not account for adjustments to savings if you are seeding a category with money from outside the savings budget. Any thoughts?

Hi @AlanV,
I rarely view the Yearly Budget sheet, but I’ve noticed what you’re experiencing when I’ve reallocated funds to different budget categories using the Savings Budget.
I joined Tiller just over a year ago, so someone with more knowledge of Tiller’s history can undoubtedly answer better than I can, but I have a hunch about the problem. It may be because the Yearly Budget sheet is part of the Foundation Template and includes a Monthly Budget based on Envelope budgeting. The Savings Budget, a Community Solution that enabled rollovers to different budget categories, came later. If my hunch is correct, a Yearly Savings Budget would probably be a request for new functionality.
