I have a car loan that is automatically connected but is showing as an asset. How do I change to a liability ? I went to the account but there are no options to change it.

You can set the card loan to a liability on the Accounts sheet in the Foundation template, which is hidden by default.
If you’re using Excel, there is also a hidden Accounts sheet where you can override the class.
