I suspect there’s already info on this but I just can’t find it. I’m already using Tiller for Google Sheets, but would love to convert them to Excel. Is this possible, and if so, are there any guidelines for doing so?

There isn’t a way to use an existing Google Sheet with Excel. If you downloaded the Google Sheet as an Excel the reports and dashboards would break as the formulas are a bit different between the two platforms.
Your best option if you really want to use Excel would be to start with the Excel Money Tracker template and then carefully copy/paste over your data from Google Sheets to Excel.
There aren’t as many template or tool options for Excel right now.
Note that excel is much harder to use vs sheets.
