Excel add-in error: related to MS Edge update?

I went to update transactions this morning and the Excel add-in did not appear automatically, which was unusual. When I tried to add it again, I got the message that it couldn’t connect to the "“Office Store’ catalog server”. I am wondering if this may be related to an update of the MS Edge browser. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

I’m not aware of this error. It could just be a temporary internet hiccup. If it is still occurring then take a look at the information below.

In researching the error, I did find the following option in step 5 contained in the following link. You might give the direct link to the Microsoft Store a try.

  1. Install the Tiller Money Feeds add-in for Excel.

  2. Open My Add-ins from the Home ribbon in an Excel workbook

  3. Search for “Tiller” in the Store

  4. Click “Add” and the add-in will appear in your Data ribbon.

  5. Direct Install Link from Microsoft Store (if above steps don’t work)

Thank you very much! It did involve going to the MS Store, and then another step involved opening a new Tiller spreadsheet. I was nervous thinking I was going to have to start anew, but once in Excel it opened my saved worksheet and I was able to access the add-in. Still learning after 8 months of using!

I’m having the same issue

I believe the Microsoft store was having an intermittent issue the other day. Were you able to use the add-in? If not, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team via the chat window in the lower right corner of the Console at https://my.tillerhq.com/
