Has anyone experimented with using receipt scanning APIs with tiller?

I use a handful of apps like RecieptJar/Coinout that give you money for recipes. I assumed they used mechanical turk or something to turn the receipts into usable data (for market research, I assume) but recently I noticed that some of them are instantly matching the products on the receipt. I found dozens of services online that promise an easy API to take a photo of a receipt and turn it into usable data, most at extremely low rates. Has anyone tried using these?

I’m imagining a way to take a photo of a receipt, match it to the tiller transaction list when it arrives a few days later, and then breaking it out by category (for example, on a Target run, I might get both groceries and home goods ), but I wasn’t sure if someone had tried this before.

Interesting idea here @ianhyzy but I am not personally familiar with receipt conversion tools. I look forward to seeing what other Community member experiences are though! :eyes::ear:t5:
