How do I backtrack a charge? (figure out where it is coming from)

How do I figure out where a charge is coming from when I don’t see the charge in the two linked accounts (credit card and checking account)?

I looked on my CC website at the statement and pending charges but neither of the two charges in question are there.
I looked in my checking account website but they aren’t there.

Each has a unique Transaction ID but I’m not sure how to use it to locate where each charge was pulled from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The “Institution” and “Account” columns on the Transactions sheet should reflect where the transaction came from. If you’re getting a transaction from an account, and don’t see that reflected in your banks website, I’d say wait a day or two just to see if their website is out of sync or something.
