Import CSV Line Items workflow question - Amazon Business Account Issue

I am using the exact instructions to import the Amazon Business transactions via the Import CSV community tool and it is stating that it does not recognize the CSV file. It may be because there is a new format as I see New next to the Shipments report in Amazon. Has anyone run into any trouble with this and found any solutions?

Hi all, just wanted to follow up to see if anyone else has had this issue or a solution.

The importers are sensitive to the data structure and expect an exactly-matching set of headers.
You’re following these instructions?

  1. Log into your Amazon Business account
  2. Navigate to Amazon Business Analytics
  3. Select Shipments in the Reports menu
  4. Select a report time period
  5. Click Download CSV in the upper right
  6. Upload the report CSV file below

I don’t have an Amazon Business account so I cannot confirm the export hasn’t changed. Essentially the importer will balk if every one of these columns isn’t present:

  • Order Date

  • Order ID

  • Account Group

  • PO Number

  • Order Quantity

  • Currency

Hi Randy, who would be the one that could update this? I attempted to bring it to the columns above but it still did not recognize. It’s pretty brutal not having this functionality with Amazon being used so frequently.

Just ran a DIFF on this. Is this what you’re seeing?

Added Columns in New Version

  • Delivery Status
  • Expected Delivery Date
  • Receiving Status
  • Received Quantity
  • Received Date
  • Receiver Name
  • Receiver Email

Removed Columns from Old Version

  • Invoice Status
  • Total Amount
  • Invoice Due Amount
  • Invoice Issue Date
  • Invoice Due Date
  • Payment Reference ID
  • Payment Date
  • Payment Amount
  • Seller Address

I’d be most comfortable proceeding with these changes if someone else could confirm these changes to the Amazon Business CSV under Amazon Business Analytics selecting “Shipments” in the Reports menu.

Speak up!

Yes, that looks right. If it would help, I can send you a sample shipments report to test out as well. Let me know how I can help.

I took a stab at implementing it. Can you make sure to refresh your browser tab with the spreadsheet and add-on and try again? Let me know if it works.

Randy, I’m not sure if anything else is having this issue but the offsetting transaction doesn’t seem to be applying to the “Amzn” account.
