I have followed the steps to download bank data, format columns, and so on. I have pasted the data into my Google sheet.
The problem is that the Category column has not connected to the list of values in the rows I pasted in. How can I get the list of values to populate the pasted-in rows (in the Category column cells)?

I think you just need to re-apply the data validation rule to the category column.
