Hi, I just added the Savings Budget template and for some reason column D “Savings” seems to show category totals from last year. For example, I have a category “Giving”, monthly budget is 450.00, actual for January to date is 230.00, savings shows 3155.00 which is the total for this category in 2024. Not sure what I’m doing wrong?

You need to set your starting date.

“Probably your starting date. “You need to set your “Starting Period” to the correct date. e.g. If you set it to 01/01/25 the amounts in the savings column will all be set to 0. Unhide columns to the right of column J. Change O2 to the date you want to use. I would suggest the current month and go forward. Re-hide the columns afterwards.”

Perfect, that did the trick. Thank you!
