I thought in the past one could manually link any spreadsheet to the console. Now it seems as though the linking process happens when you run the Tiller add-on. If I open a spreadsheet and run the tiller add-on it then shows up in the console but the other spreadsheet disappears.
Maybe it doesn’t matter as long as the add-on is available.
If you open a sheet and Run the Tiller Add-on. it will connect it and add it to the Tiller Console. This is assuming you havent hit the limit of 5 connected sheets.
I did read the FAQ. What’s odd is that each of the spreadsheets individually will show up in the console but never both at the same time. Maybe it doesn’t matter but the behavior seems odd.
I believe this landed on the possibility that when it’s a copy of an existing file and the spreadsheet ID is being passed to the copy Tiller doesn’t see them as separate files. @dminches have you since tried working with other copies of the same file to a different outcome?
