How to Adjust January Budget Only - without changing the rest of the year


How can I change the budget for January without it automatically changing the rest of the year?

I understand this to be a feature (which I use regularly and do not want to break), however, I have a few one-time expenses, plus have monthly commission that is variable that I like to update per month proactively.

Is there a way to do this?

If you use the Budget Plan template you can specify separate budget items for any time period you choose.

Thank you. I ended up just manually editing the spreadsheet to not cascade = cell to left. I will take a look at the Budget Plan sheet as well!
