@jono just pointed me to a wild formula-protection workflow written up on Medium. I’m not sold on the full application (with the helper script) but my head is spinning from learning about the incredible FORMULASMAP() function which effortlessly catalogs all of the formulas in a range.
Wow, this is fantastic. I can immediately see some possibilities, starting with using a formulasmap() sheet when I need to search within formulas. It’s possible via the regular search but searching the formulasmap() sheet would be a lot clearer.
