Employer HSA Contributions

I am currently tracking my HSA and categorize my contributions as a transfer. My employer matches my contributions and those show up as a separate entry. Any suggestions on how I should categorize them? Income?

That is what I would do.

I also categorize my personal HSA contributions as income. I recently started recording my gross paychecks and paycheck deductions, so there is also an HSA deduction as an expense in addition to that income line. It all nets out the same, but the path the money takes is a little clearer. I would also categorize any employer contributions as income, although I would probably use a separate employer HSA contribution category for tracking purposes.

Income for me as well! This is also how I categorize my 401(k) and 401(k) match so I want to be consistent.
