Help with Category Tracker for excel

I have been using tiller successfully with excel for six months, and input 2 years worth of data. Would love to use category tracker, but after following all download and install instructions three times I cannot get the sheet to populate any data. I even renamed my current sheet back to the original tiller-foundation-template name as I work locally but store changes on one drive.

Can someone suggest a better way to trouble shoot why these links are not populating even though all the required other sheets/tables are set up

I think i see the problem. I modified my Transactions and Categories sheets to add additional columns; that is probably throwing off the formulas in the category tracker. I will take new tiller template with no changes and attempt to add the tracker. If that works, I will then populate the new template with my updated data, and put the additional columns after the columns referenced in the Tracker so they don’t break the links. If some one is expert on this, let me know.

Hi @tsackton thanks for sharing the update here as well on what you discovered to be the problem, was it indeed the additional columns in the Categories sheet? Has your workaround resolved the issue?
