Tiller on an iPad

I did some searching here, but did not really see anything conclusive. Does Tiller Money work well on an iPad? I would love to start using an iPad when travelling vs. a laptop, but if Tiller is wonky on it I don’t want to bother. Thanks.

I don’t believe add-ons like Tiller will work on iOS.

Thanks. Do you have one?

I do. I tried once. It didn’t work. I went back to my laptop. There have been previous conversations on here about Tiller on iOS, and I believe the consensus was that it won’t work.

I think @richl might have some relevant experience to share on this one.

I look forward to any insight @richl !

Hey @bltcfo i use the Google Sheets version of Tiller and it works great with my Ipad.

First off, dont use the google sheets ios app. it sucks.

Just use the browser and the sheet and tiller Add-on work great.

One thing to note, make sure the page is rendered in desktop mode ( vs mobile). This will give you full functionality.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

Thanks much. Which iPad are you using?

I have the iPad Pro from a few years ago

I use my iPad Pro to update my Tiller XLS spreadsheet. You need to use web excel and not the app.

The only device I use these days is an IPad AIR 4 with the Magic Keyboard. As was pointed out use the online version of sheets. I started out trying to use Excel , didn’t work at all, although I see a lot of upgrades has been done since I first tried 4 years ago.

Tiller works in IPad OS, I use it on Safari. The only issue I’ve encountered so far is when I try to create “new” conditional formatting using formulas, it just won’t allow it and I get the invalid formula error. That’s the only time I need to use the laptop.
