Tiller vs Microsoft Money in Excel & Historical Data Pull

I am comparing Tiller to Microsoft Money in Excel.

Can anyone explain why Tiller only downloads 90 days of transactions when Microsoft Money in Excel will download several years for the same account?

I’m guessing it’s a difference governed by their data feed provider. I think Tiller uses Yodlee, and Microsoft appears to use Plaid.

Thanks. I couldn’t figure out who tiller uses.

I think it may be a decision by Tiller. I believe Yodlee offers the ability to go back 1 year as well. Maybe they don’t want to bog down google sheets with all the old data or maybe it costs them more. Who knows.

@richl - appreciate several posts you have on this topic (i.e., 90 day limitation is not Yodlee). Have you found a work around to this 90-day historical pull within Tiller?

Nope, unless they decide to change it there is nothing you or me can do. Unless you want to manually import CSV files from your bank

My suggestion, just accept it and a start downloading today you can still get all of the transactions for this calendar year.
