Annual Budget vs. Monthly Budget

Has anyone created an annual budget with Tiller Money? I mean, instead of guessing monthly amounts, just set aside enough money in each category to cover the year. Then draw down from that as transactions are recorded. This is probably not commonly useful but I think it simplifies things in certain situations like retirement spending.

Ff I had an insurance payment of $1000 every 6 months, I’d just budget the $2000 for the year and draw down as needed.

Curious what you think.

You could do this using the Savings Budget sheet. You’d add the amount you want to Savings for the appropriate category in January and then use those Savings to offset expenses when they hit throughout the year.
