Column C (Descriptions I think are suddenly blank

 I worked on my transactions over the weekend, I also added a new credit card. When I opened this morning , column C is blank. no descriptions of transactions. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks !

I would use Version History to go back to when things were working, then try again.

Thanks, So I restored Thursdays version which did not have the blank transactions. When I pulled in the new transactions they came in blank as show in the photo above. Any insight into what I could be doing wrong ?

Thanks,

Bryan

Hmm this is an interesting situation because it has the full description listed in column N as shown.

Is it possible the formatting somehow changed to have white lettering which matches the background?

I dont think that the version history redo will refill those transactions, since theyve already been imported so if niether of those work, I wonder if there may be an issue with the filling coming from the tiller extension because typically thr description column (c) is just a bit of a truncated and cleaned up version of the full download. @randy do you have any ideas?

I reread my question and I should add, only new transactions are blank. Anything before 7/25 not associated with the new credit card are filled in. Sounds confusing I know, I added a credit card from Barclays and those transaction were pulled in blank prior to 7/25, after 7/25 all transactions came in blank from all accounts.

Can you confirm that all new ones have the full description in the column N?

If all else fails you can just copy paste those contents over, but i would check the formatting first to see if its been turned white somehow.

Thanks, they do have descriptions in Column N. I did not see a formatting issue meaning the text is set to show Black against White. I cannot see the relationship between the two columns (C and N) to see if there is anything broken in a formula.

Thanks,

Bryan

Solved !, I realized that the Column Header “Description” was not populated. After some research I figured out that had to be there. Not sure when I removed it but my issue is fixed.

Thanks All,
