When I look at my monthly budget, I see that I have spent x amount on a specific category. For example, I spent $500 on groceries.
Now, I am wondering which transactions are included in this total.
Is there a way to locate all transactions for this category for this month, or even for the entire year?
I use the transaction tracker worksheet. Works really good for me.

The worksheet add on is called TransactiontTracker for Goggle Sheets and is found under Community Solutions. Add this workshheet to your Foundation template and then use it as you like. You can search on just about anything in your transaction register. Good luck
I use the Transaction Tracker sheet as well. Alternatively, you could filter your transactions sheet using the funnel icon. Just remember to remove the filter when you’re done looking.
