Why did all my transactions download again?

I started a brand new tiller sheet this year and deleted all my older transactions. However, Tiller just downloaded all my pre-2025 data for a 2nd time. Is this something I can avoid in the future?

this also happened to me, had to revert my sheet

Sorry, this is due to a push we made earlier today that changed the way we set watermarks. There was an edge case that didn’t show up in our testing. If someone had balances but no transactions on a fill the transaction watermark didn’t get properly migrated (to the new method) and therefore Tiller Money Feeds thought none of that accounts’ transactions had been filled.

Really sorry for the inconvenience!!

We recommend restoring to a version of your Google Sheet from before 12:41PM EST today (Jan 21). This will ensure that when you fill again the migration happens properly and you shouldn’t get duplicates.

I had the same problem and Twlene from support provide these directions. It has an addtional step of creating a copy and that worked for me - hope this helps

Hi Ron,

Can you please try to restore your spreadsheet to a previous version before Jan 21 12:41PM EST to prevent the duplicates from making it into your sheet. From there you can fill your sheet as normal. Guide below on how to use version history.

Please note you can make a copy and edit earlier versions of a file if you think you need back up of any kind.

  1. On your computer, open a document / spreadsheet
  2. Choose an option: At the top, click File >Version history > See version history. At the top right, click Last edit
  3. In the right panel, next to the version you want to copy, click More Make a copy.
  4. Enter a name for your copy.
  5. Choose where to save the file.

I just made an entirely new sheet in an attempt to fix this and received duplicate transactions. There is an issue with AMEX specifically, we have two different logins between my wife and I - I think the feed isn’t accounting for them separately, as I see both transactions via my login - but my wife only see’s hers.

Soultion - Just use one login; doesn’t work as she has a large high yield savings account we want tracked that’s only on her AMEX account. . .
