My Transactions Google sheet has about 10,000 rows going back many years. Suddenly, all of the Date and Date Added entries show the year as being 2024. Any idea how this could have happened or how to restore the correct original dates?
It might hard to pinpoint why this would happen. I don’t think it happens very often! Your best bet is to look at previous versions of the spreadsheet (CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-H) and find a previous version with the correct dates. Make a copy of the one that works best and then copy and paste to your original Transactions dates to the “good” sheet.

Oops, I had forgotten that I had created a filter to show only current year transactions. Now I am red-faced and plan to delete this post. But first I wish to thank jemmoa7 for his prompt and thoughtful response.

@nicetouches Don’t feel too bad. It’s very easy to do and I’m pretty sure most of us have all forgotten to remove a filter. I know I have.
I should have thought of that! A filter. I’ve done the same thing too, more than once! Glad it got solved.
