I’m not understanding how to budget correctly for a vacation.
If I have a $1,000 vacation budget and have spent $500 on preparation, then withdrawal $500 for cash purchases, how is the cash categorized and the cash spending tracked and categorized on the spreadsheet?
I track cash using the Super Tidy Cash Tracking Method, which means creating a manual cash account and a manual transaction transfer deposit into cash to match the transfer out of the bank account. Then it’s manual transactions for all cash spending into the usual categories.
