Budget Plan template - How to Sort by Groups once multiple rows are added

I have a question about the Budget Plan template from Tiller Community Solutions.

I added a few of my categories and the automated numbers are coming through fine. However, when I go to sort the sheet by selecting rows in Column D (Groups) and selecting “Sort Sheet by Column D”, all the equations break and end with #REF error.

I am after the ability to move the rows around so that I can see each Group sequentially once a row is added.
