Can transactions update the balance of a manual account?
Balances are not determined via Transactions, they are two separate things, and depending on your bank and the exact moment you get updates, they may not match. To update the balance of a manual account you need to use the add-on and go to “Manual Accounts”.
Add Manual Transaction has an update balance option for manual accounts.
It’s simply performing a separate change to your Balance History sheet by the transaction amount.
