Hide transfer category on Category Tracker

I’m having an issue with the Category Tracker template.

I have my Emergency Fund category listed as a Transfer:

When I have a Transaction in the Emergency Fund category, like this:

I see it as an expense on the Categories Tracker report, like this:

But I’m expecting to NOT see it as an expense because it’s a Transfer from one account to another, and the money never leaves my accounts. I want the Category Tracker report to show an accurate representation of money in/out but this throws it off.

What am I missing here? How do I get these transfers to NOT show up on the Category Tracker?

Hi @rmr,

If you mark the emergency fund transfer category has “hide” in the “Hide from Reports” column on the Categories sheet it won’t show up on the Category Tracker.
