Net Worth Tracker not showing any data after updating Accounts sheet in Templates

I used the “Update” under the Accounts sheet in the Templates section of the Tiller for Google Sheets Money Feeds. After making the update and having to reenter all my account information, I am now not seeing any values in the Net Worth Tracker spreadsheet. Net Worth Snapshot works as intended as does the Balances sheet. I am not very clear where, if any setting, may need to be updated to get this to work again. Or do I just return to the archived accounts sheet?

Did you try restoring the Net Worth sheet via the add-on already?

I think my eyes are failing me as that is the first thing I checked and did not see a “Restore Sheet” button. But it was very clearly there when I went back into my sheet and that brought the sheet back to life. Thanks for the help!

I know this is old, but just a warning. I tried this and not only did it not work but it wiped clean some of my other pages.

That doesn’t sound good at all, you should try the Google sheets version history feature to restore back to a known point that didnt include the wiped pages.

Otherwise if you let us know the specific pages that were wiped some other troubleshooting steps may be able to accomplish fixing your workbook

Thank for your reply, I spent about an hour on it yesterday and with the version control restoring it to and earlier point did not work either but I was able to get my missing pages back.

Also It was only the accounts and balance history pages that were wiped, and it might have been a fluke because I tried restoring the net worth page again and it didn’t wipe anything.

I’m looking at the formulas on the net worth page and I’m not 100% sure but it seems like the dates aren’t being picked up. It’s only picking up the latest date, even though the balance history has dates for a couple months. I made sure there were no filters on the balance history, I removed duplicates, and trimmed redundant transactions. I also sorted by dates Z-A.

I’m going to spend more time on it today

Yes i believe either the net worth or another sheet relies on the balance history to be sorted correctly to function, it must be newest transactions on top in order to render properly.

Odd about the wiping but sounds like you got it figured out and got your data back.
