I updated the names of my connected accounts, then refreshed and filled data. Only a few items came in using the new account name. I then ran the Repair Balance History tool, but it seems to want to change the new account name in certain transactions back to the original account name.
I was rather hoping that this tool would, in fact, do the opposite of that! Am I misunderstanding what this tool is for?
Hi @dixonge - it’s supposed to do what you’re asking 
But it only works on the Balance History sheet, not the Transactions sheet, unless you meant balance history entries when you said “transactions”
I think it’s supposed to look at the newest version of the name associated with the Account ID and use the details from that one. Account ID is usually a hidden column in Balance History.
