Rows in Transaction Sheet not included in reports or filters

I manually added (cut and pasted) rows which included historical data to the bottom of the transaction sheet. However, those rows do not get included when I filter on the header column. I think in Excel this would just be a table range issue … but I cannot figure out how to extend the range of the Transaction table in Google Sheets.

You do this from the Filters View. (Data-Filter View(Select the Filter)

This opens up a new area where you can update the Range.
