I’m having an issue with our Savings Budget with our Personal Care Category when it carries over the remaining available balance from one month to the next. At the end of September we had $158 left in the category, which means that’s what we should have in the Savings column for October. For some reason when we go to October it shows us as having $848.00. This is the only Category that is incorrect. I have gone all the way back to August to track each category. Everything checks out correctly except the Personal Care category.
I tried to change the value in the Savings column to the correct amount, but the cell would not allow me to do that. This is a problem moving forward because we obviously cannot see the actual amount we have saved.

Thank you for your response. I don’t have that many categories so I’m not sure that would be my issue. I have basic spreadsheet skills so it’s possible this is a user created error, but I can’t seem to find what would’ve caused it.
You can check your Category “types” to make sure they are only Income, Expense, and Transfer. Also, that you’ve categorized expenses and income types correctly according to their polarity (+/-), that can cause some issues with the totals.
