Shorter Transaction Description

I am new to Tiller HQ.

In Google sheets, there are two columns for descriptions. One is called Description one is Full Description.

For the column description, what is “Best Practice” or what do you use?

For example, as description I have
Weaver Street Marketchapel Hill x x2009

I think Weaver Street. would be sufficient for me.

Yea, I usually leave “Full Description” as it’s imported, and then have AutoCat rename “Description” to something shorter (eg. “MEIJER # 274 GRAFTON WI XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX3024” becomes “Meijer”).
