Category Rollup Report workflow question

if you have a category roll up report (or any report dependent on the transactions tab) and you change the original transaction - I’m finding that it doesn’t auto-update on the report (change doesn’t cascade out to dependent tabs).
Is this the case? Just wasn’t sure I was missing something. I have to re-generate the report with the new data from the transactions tab.

That is correct and the intended behavior, it is a static report. I sometimes find mis categorized transactions this way and regenerate the report after any updates are made.

If you’re looking for something more dynamic that will change then check out the options in the community.

Most of the other templates populate also based on the transactions sheets but are more “real time” looking at any immediate changes and will reflect them immediately. It all depends on what you’re looking to accomplish.
