Have filter pick up all instances of a word

So in the “Transactions” sheet, under the “Description” column we can use the filter function to sort and filter. in the values we can search for words

I noticed that if the word or number i’m searching for isn’t the first character or preceded by a space it isn’t picked up. IE if i search for “food,” the search won’t pick up “ggpay:food”, or “HelloFood” what i’ve done currently is go back a use those specific terms but i wonder if i’ve missed items because they started with words/characters i wasn’t expecting.

Try instead the “Filter by condition” → “Text contains” option. Then “food” will pick up any descriptions with “food” in them no matter where the word food appears.
