Starting from Scratch, Again

Hi, My Tiller Google Sheets workbook seems like it’s ground to a halt, and I have a feeling I’ve screwed something up. Can anyone walk me through how to cancel updating my existing workbook, create a new TMF workbook, get that one updating, and then how to manually copy the data from the trashactions sheet in my old workbook to the new TMF workbook. Thanks

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team via the chat window in the lower right corner of the Console at https://my.tillerhq.com/ This is something we can definitely help you with!

In Tiller Community Solutions, there is a Migration Helper! Go to Tools, Utilities, and then Migration Helper. I make a new sheet every year and this really speeds up the process.

Here’s a link to the documentation with more details: Docs: Migration Helper

If your spreadsheet broke abruptly, @kgoodman16, due to a change, I’d recommend restoring the whole spreadsheet prior to the breaking change. If it “ground to a halt” because it became bloated, then I agree starting over is a better path forward.
