When I run the P & L report, the totals look weird. For example instead of showing me the total I spent in August it shows: -7.56-29.5915.87-5-33.1232.51-6.56-30.31-33.03-59.73-25.3 instead of a whole number.
This type of error shows up in different categories all across my P & L about 20 times.
Has anyone experienced this type of issue or know how to fix it?
Any chance you have formulas in the Amount column on your transactions sheet for those categories for any transactions for those months? Or perhaps some amounts aren’t formatted as currency.
I suspect it has something to do with the data in the Transactions sheet so I’d recommend trying to narrow down to those months/categories and figure out what’s wrong with the source data.
You can use filters to help you narrow down the visible transactions in the Transactions sheet.
