I accidentally deleted a bank with 3 accounts from my tiller console. I was able to add it back in but now when I update the spreadsheet it treats the accounts as 3 new accounts and not the same as the ones that previously existed. Now I have duplicate transations for several months and my historical end of month data will not line up because even though it is the same account, the spreadsheet is now considering calling the account that it use to reference as Account A as Account B. How do I fix this?
Hi @joshmccormackpt,
I think this help article should provide the details you need on how to fix, but let me know if not.
@heather I’ve run into this issue and working on this workflow now to fix the 3 accounts that seem to have gotten new account numbers after a bank software upgrade. I’m stalling at the part in the how to on duplicated accounts that says
" We don’t recommend deleting your Archived accounts from the Console if you want to keep your historical data prior to your data feeds upgrade."
If i’m reading correctly on archived accounts,
Updating Your Data Feeds
that is something that came over from older feed options and feed bot days? If so this would no longer apply to my situation, since I started using Tiller in Jan of this year, however I want to make sure before moving forward. Thank you for the help.
Please let me know if this should be a new topic instead,
@bentyre1 - that’s correct, the archived accounts part doesn’t apply to you.
